May. 3rd, 2003 04:56 pmDear People in Charge of the X-Men film franchise -
Hello, I'm writing this letter after recently viewing X-Men 2. The movie was very good and made me regret that minute I spent in the potty. However, I do have some comments I'd like to voice to you.
Thank you for listening to my concerns. I hope you will remember them for X-Men 3: Something to Do With Phoenix or Somesuch.

P.S. - Where da fuck is Gambit, you sons a bitches?
Hello, I'm writing this letter after recently viewing X-Men 2. The movie was very good and made me regret that minute I spent in the potty. However, I do have some comments I'd like to voice to you.
- Much of the audience is well-versed in the X-Men universe. We know Wolverine has a total boner for Jean Grey. We grew up watching the cartoon on Fox. We all own that issue of Uncanny X-Men with them macking on the cover. Those of us who don't, watched the first movie. Thus, you do not have to show us longing looks in every two shot of them. Don't worry, we'll remember he totally digs her. Personally, I'd be much more interested in why he cares about her.
- Pyro was, no pun intended, very hot. You should have a lot more Pyro in the next film. And possibly sexy nude photos of him in the DVD extras.
- If you're aiming to make smoochies between Storm and Nightcrawler, again, we don't need closeup two shots of them every fifteen minutes. Trust me, there are good actors portraying both characters. You don't need to help them along with cameras.
Thank you for listening to my concerns. I hope you will remember them for X-Men 3: Something to Do With Phoenix or Somesuch.

I didn't read your post though. *L* I didn't know if it had spoilery stuff in it and I'm going to see the movie tonight, but the last line jumped out at me. As a rabid Gambit fan, I was NOT happy to find out that what I'd heard about him and Beast being in the movie were just rumors. >_

i.e. it was rumored that there would be three villains in spidey 2 (july 2004) alas, there will be only one. oh man that totally sounded like a highlander line. d'oh!

Date: 2003-05-05 04:23 am (UTC)I think it's GREAT that there are all these girls out there giving their boyfriends the info. Like when I saw House of 1,000 Corpses and outside there was a guy whose girlfriend looked really annoyed and he kept saying "It wasn't that bad, I liked it" meanwhile I was doing the same thing too. XD
I love being a nerd girl.
