NaSweKniMo Final Count!
Dec. 2nd, 2006 04:03 pmI was reminded to post this once I finally saw my friends page and saw everyone's NaNoWriMo counts. Two days late or so...
Stitches made: 11,527.
Stitches not made: 38,473
It's not as much as I had hoped, but I also did knit a little sweater, so I spent usual knitting time (train ride) sewing that up, and I swore I'd finish my dad's blanket by Thanksgiving (it was a Father's Day gift), so there was more time spent weaving instead of knitting or crocheting. But I did make a few scarves, a couple gifts, and some hats. I also spent some time trying to figure out a keychain pattern to give to coworkers, and it seemed unfair to count stitches that had existed for 5 minutes before being frogged. Blah.
I crocheted a hat too small to fit on human heads. I think I'll have to frog the sparkly pretty bottom bits and widen the top so it'll fit on a normal person. My head is ginormous, so I can't judge, especially given that this hat is being made for someone much smaller than me. Guh.
