I am so full of burrito it is like my tummy is pregnant by burrito. BLARGGGGGGGGGG SO FAT AND FULL OF FOOD.

I found a gym near me that charges $30/month. I'm thinking that it's a sweet enough deal that I no longer have an excuse not to gym.

I got yarn today! From Knitpicks! It is pretty! And now I only have 50 crafts I'm supposed to be doing! YAYS!

I've got about 500 projects going on right now at work when I usually have 5. AHHHHH.

ICE CREAM

My company brought in Ben & Jerry's today to give us ice cream since we don't have summer hours anymore. I got Chocolate Fudge Brownie with crushed cookie crumbs, mini M&Ms, crushed oreos, whipped cream, and hot fudge. THEN I GOT A SECOND.

MY BOWELS HURT SO GOOD

Ugh.

After my surfing lesson, I decided that I had such a hard time because I am totally out of shape again, and I should really hop back on the wagon of dieting and get back in line and work out at home (if nothing else, do pushups and work up to the surfing movement so I'll get better). I had an all-fruit Jamba (with antioxidant boost) for breakfast, and brought along a Lean Cuisine full of protein for lunch.

And then Dave said, "Hey, we're doing Taco Bell for lunch. You want in?"

"KAY!"

Buuuurp. I brought along cute matching flip-flops to wear with today's outfit, figuring that I'd be sitting around an edit room all day and no one would see me. But I've been running up and down stairs and everywhere today. Today is not a day for running. Today is a day for waddling.

Surf lesson yesterday was awesome. I can say awesome now that I'm a day removed from it. At the time I was ready to cry and I was frustrated and I didn't even get a chance to stand up on the board, and just wanted to go home and shower and vomit up all the sea water I swallowed, but now I can say I'd do it again. I ache in my muscles from my wrists up to my shoulders and pecs, and then in my upper abs (the underboob bits). Also, my ass. My knees hurt superficially from falling on them a million times, and they look all scuffed up like I'm a little rapscallion from Lil Rascals or somesuch.

I think I didn't do very well because I have very little upperbody strength. My legs are strong, and I subway surf enough to believe I could keep my balance on a wave, but the whole GETTING TO standing up bit seems to be all arms, and those don't work very well. Maybe I'll do pushups until the next time I get a lesson.

Kirk stayed on the beach and read, and he was a bit aways from the class. But he said he could see me when I stood up out of the water, because I was the one in the wetsuit with the palest legs. AWESOME.
