You know, I love Trigun and all, and it may possibly be my favourite anime series, but it's not all that deep.

I mean, sure, there's stuff about family and love and peace and the right to take a life yada yada yada. But the pace of the narration really isn't hard to follow, there's little to no symbolism, and I can't imagine that anyone would need a deep explanation to follow 26 episodes.

For all film majors on my friends page, remember how in Film History I you learn that early filmmakers figured out that if you show a shot of a train station, and then show an inside shot that looks like it's the inside of a train station, people will connect that it's the same station?

Now if only Nightow would put the Insurance Girls back in the manga, I could heap some praise upon the other half of Trigun, too... ^___^

Yeah, I love the fight scenes. "Okay, dialogue, dialogue, dialogue, fight...what the hell is going on? Eh, I'll find out at the end...what?! Who died? How did they die? Where did that ice cream cone come from? When did she get a gun? Is this even the same group of people??"
