Apr. 30th, 2003 11:36 amYou know, I love Trigun and all, and it may possibly be my favourite anime series, but it's not all that deep.
I mean, sure, there's stuff about family and love and peace and the right to take a life yada yada yada. But the pace of the narration really isn't hard to follow, there's little to no symbolism, and I can't imagine that anyone would need a deep explanation to follow 26 episodes.
For all film majors on my friends page, remember how in Film History I you learn that early filmmakers figured out that if you show a shot of a train station, and then show an inside shot that looks like it's the inside of a train station, people will connect that it's the same station?
anime <------These people don't quite get things like that.
