Good Idea / Bad Idea
Feb. 19th, 2003 12:55 pmGood idea: Watching Don Hertzfeldt's "Rejected."
Bad idea: Watching Don Hertzfeldt's "Rejected" at 3:45AM and containing muffled laughter while your roommate tries to sleep.
Good idea: Downloading Jem episodes.
Bad idea: Spending all night watching aforementioned Jem episodes.
Good idea: Waking up early to get nobaby pills before classes begin.
Bad idea: Wasting away extra hour flipping through channels on tellyvision.
Good idea: Digging out car when five other people are present to help dig and push (thanks, y'all ^_^ )
Bad idea: Trying to park car again when the parking lot is not plowed at all (fuck you very much, Rowan University).
Yeah, that's how my last night went. And how are you?
Have started recent Jem obsession, either spurred by
kannaophelia's user icons or
jaina's pop culture class. But man, Jem still is truly, truly, truly outrageous. But I have to admit, the Misfits are right - their songs are better.
It also reminds me just how COOL holograms were in the 80's.

Date: 2003-02-19 04:23 pm (UTC)And yes, the Misifits had no atrocities of songs like "We're Taking a Train." And forget everything I ever said about not being attracted to cartoon characters - I'm desperately in love with all the Misfits. Including Clash, Eric and TechRat, but probably not Zipper...
