40cakes- A federal judge denied Viacom's claim for $1 billion in punitive damages on Friday in its knockdown/drag out legal battle with Google's YouTube, almost a year after the suit was filed. The ruling notes copyright law makes no provision for putative damages and "protection given to copyrights is wholly statutory."

- A top cable network wants adventurous celebrities to appear on a new eight-episode reality series, Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling produced by Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment and Hulk Hogan. Participants, male and female, must be in good physical shape. Taping will happen in Los Angeles from June 2 to July 2, 2008 and besides the eight planned episodes, there is a possible two-hour finale.
