40cakesSCI FI Channel has unveiled plans to add a weekly anime programming block to its Monday night schedule. Ani-Monday will air from 11p-1a beginning June 11. The two-hour block will feature movies, series and shorts from Starz Media's anime distribution unit called Manga.
Not QUITE the ring that "Saturday Anime" had, Y/N?
In a recent post at Pandagon, commenters were talking about how Philly posted rainbow-colored street signs to court gay tourism dollars, and how the "family values" people were shitting bricks. Someone posted this ad, and I think it's cute.
Also, NEW HARRY POTTER TRAILER!!! It starts out similarly to the international trailer I posted a few weeks ago, but it goes in a different direction very quickly. Eeeeeeeee.

Date: 2007-05-08 02:49 pm (UTC)I'm disappointed that here in the land of Potter, I have yet to see an HP trailer in the cinema. Not that the internet isn't great and all, but it's not the same thing as the big screen. (Great, I sound like that obnoxious anti-piracy ad that plays before all films.) Hopefully it will be before Spiderman, which I'm going to see sometime this week.
