My car is stuck! In ice! I can't dig it out because I can't get either snow shovel through the ice! I tried forward, reverse, and moving the tires all around, and pushing. I even took out the mats from the backseat and put them under the front tires for some traction. Not working (ya ever see car mats fly at 90mph?) I'm gonna try to trek down to the hardware store today and just cover my car with rock salt and hope I can escape tomorrow. I didn't think I'd ever want to go to work this badly :)

When Heather's car had the same problem, we put cardboard boxes flat under the tires for traction, and then 2 of us used brute force to shove the car while heather steered. It did eventually work!

Yesterday i faced a similar situation.

A guy drove by with a metal rectangluar shovel that just cut right through the ice. I was like "i need to get one of those" as my plastic shovel was doing only mininmal damage

I had that problem last month. I pretty much begged my Dad to show up at my place with a large, metal shovel and a digging hoe. I got out pretty quick after that.
