TV and shopping
Mar. 12th, 2007 10:19 amI'm back at my desk! Apparently, everyone laughed at the project we've been knocking ourselves out on. Hooray!*
Cartoon Network is set to premiere its first two-hour original animated movie, Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 7p. Leading up to the debut of the special the network will host a mini-marathon of its series, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, from 4p. In the TV movie actor George Segal lends his voice to Horror. Warner Home Video and Cartoon Network will release Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure on DVD on April 3, 2007. Extras featured on the DVD will include the short Bully Boogie and a video with voice-actors. Created by Maxwell Atoms, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy bowed as a half-hour series on the network in June 2003.
I don't know about first original animated movie, though. I sat in the theater to see the PowerPuff Girls movie, dammit :) Maybe they mean the first original to air on the network.
These rings are REALLY cute. They come in two pieces, so you can mix and match the colored outside band with the decorated inner band. Sadly, it seems you pick and pay for a "theme", and then what you get is randomly shipped to you. I do like the sparklers and the colorize themes. Also, they're in Canadian dollars, which I think works out to be cheaper on this side of the border. Payday is Friday :)
*Laughed at as in, "it was meant to be comedic and succeeded" and not "we presented our ideas and they humiliated us."
