40cakesI don't usually care for celebrity news, because Lord knows I have a hard enough time keeping up with the exploits of people I actually know (thank God for Livejournal). But man, this one caught my eye and wouldn't give it back.
As we saw in the train wreck "Chaotic", Britney and Kev are self-involved and love seeing themselves on camera, so it makes sense that they'd have at least one video of them having sex. But unlike any of the audiences who watched "Chaotic", Britney and Kev couldn't tell they weren't far from falling apart. And now Kevin is "shopping" around the tape.
The "pal" says Federline is using the tape as leverage in their custody battle but that he is not above carrying out his threat.
Because nothing says, "I'm a responsible adult of moral fiber and my children need me in their lives," like threatening mommy with a sex tape for money. Also the only thing Kevin Federline is above is sea level.
The article itself gets into the cringe-worthy virgin/whore area. The writer editorializes that the tape couldn't possibly hurt Britney since she's pretty much put herself on display in every other way, and worn revealing clothing for plenty of other media. This is totally true, of course. Just ask Janet Jackson. It also brings up a case concerning Us Weekly that said she "acted goofy" while watching an alleged sex tape with her lawyers. Now, if the story is true, and an entourage member threatened to publish a tape, why on Earth did she have to watch the entire thing with her lawyers? And how, exactly, SHOULD one behave while watching a video of yourself doing the squelchy with a bunch of men in suits? Perhaps we should contact Emily Post. When giving a hand job, remember to always keep the pinky extended.
