Nov. 2nd, 2006 03:17 pmThe original blog post is here. The idea?
1. Instead of writing 50,000 words in a month, knit 50,000 stitches.
2. Crochet stitches count.
3. The 50,000 stitches do not have to be a part of a single project (though what a project it would be), and the project does not have to be a sweater.
4. Update with your stitch count for the day and month thus far, and give us many pictures!
I'm working on a puppy sweater for one of my coworkers. No idea how many stitches I knit yesterday, but I'll start counting today. Huzzah! Also, with holiday knitting, this should go pretty damn quick.
(I think the name is sorta stupid, too)
