Because I like crossovers, but I can't be arsed to execute them properly.
Because people with vaguely similar hairstyles are obviously related.
Because though I love drabbles, they've ruined any pittance of a writing ability I had for longform.
Because if I don't write this, I'll have to admit to myself that I've come up with the perfect ending punchline for IchiRuki smut.
Because if I don't write this, I'll have to admit to myself that filking "Trapped in the Closet" to be about Ichigo and Rukia is gonna be real funny.

She was strong of spirit, but her body was weak. When their daughter fell ill, Meryl told her stories. Of angels and clouds and harps, where everyone was happy - Heaven.
Heaven was actually dirty and crowded. No wings or harps. She made a best friend, and together, they joined the ranks of angels.
And then, she met a strong-willed boy with light hair and fire in his eyes and a wish to protect, and something in his voice made her trust him. This was against rules and regulations, but she pointed her sword at him and said, "I'm Rukia."
