Doctor Who question, possible spoilers, probably not, as I seem to be the last person to catch up on this.


Hokay, so.

We saw the first episode with Ten, with the fat aliens in government. We saw the second episode with Queen Victoria and the werewolf. Then there was a preview that showed robots, and Anthony Stewart Head.

The next episode featured Ten, Rose, and Mickey in an alternate dimension, though present day, and Barty Crouch Sr. was a megalomaniac out to create homeless people robots. The episode ended on our heroes surrounded by robots, saying "Ex-TAIR-minate! Ex-TAIR-minate! Delete! Delete!"

And then everyone was working in Evil Giles school and Rose was in Lunch Lady Land. And it was a darling episode, but WTF? Did we watch out of order? But why did the preview show both, then? BAH!

I've been thinking about it. I don't have an answer for the "why did they show both in the preview" question, but I might've figured out the plot. I think s2e3 happens after s2e4, since Mickey was inexplicably in the group at the start of ep3 and at the end of s2e4 he decides he wants to join them in their gallivanting.

I know there was a preview of several episodes early in the season, but I'm not entirely certain which episodes it actually aired after other than TCI. Depending on who feeds your habit, it may have popped up later.

However, for your convenience, the S2 breakdown goes like so:

The Christmas Invasion - The Doctor vs. Killer Christmas Tree.

New Earth - Cassandra possesses Rose. Science is abused in numerous ways.

Tooth and Claw - The Doctor vs. Werewolf. Queen Victoria kicks ass.

School Reunion - Evil Giles! Also, some chick named Sarah Jane Smith.

The Girl in the Fireplace - The Doctor gets his Kirk on with an 18th century courtesan. The heads of Ten/Rose shippers promptly explode.

Rise of the Cybermen - An alternate universe where Pete Tyler lives and Mickey kicks ass. Alas, no bearded Spock.

The Age of Steel - Alternate universe part the second. More Cybermen than you can shake a sonic screwdriver at.
