The Adult Swim program The Boondocks now has a fashion collection launched in 680 Hot Topic stores by its licensing agency, Brand Central. The products include t-shirts, track jackets, headgear and accessories such as wrist cuffs, posters and dog tags, chains and pins, all designed by Aaron McGruder, creator of the 6-year old comic strip on which the show is based.

I get these from a newsletter called the Cynopsis, which is a daily industry email. Sometimes it's full of fun things, other times it's a lot of boring crap.

Man, I coulda told you that two weeks ago. The stuff just rolled in last week, and it's getting a pretty good pop.
I've actually never seen the show, though. Love the comic. Does the show hold up?

The show holds up fabulously. For obvious reasons, it can't be quite as current as the comic strip can be, but the spirit is alive and well.
