When I came into work this morning, they served us donuts and mimosas. Ah, Manhattan breakfast.

Good weekend. Took Kirk home to the parents for the first time and the cats love him. Well, love him inasmuch as they're pissy little felines and didn't instantly reject him by hiding away all weekend. They let him pet and brush them! Excitement! Then my mom came home while we were having sex!* Did a lot of laundry and had a lovely birthday weekend, if you don't count that I didn't really get a birthday present from my parents yet.

jaina and I went on a hunt to get her the Mario Kart DS bundle, with no such luck. Booooo. But Kirk got a Dreamcast. Yaaayy. I had a Chrismabirthday lunch date with

jaina and

arafel, and we had Chinese/Malaysian food, then went shopping! I got embroidery cloth, which means I'm taking up yet another crafy hobby for me to ignore.

I was just pointed to this site, which lets you make your own sign. I think I'll have to post mine around the 14th St. station.
