40cakesI really did try to find cool out-of-the-house things to do. But as I am not braving New York again due to last year's debacle, and Q's doesn't even have anything listed, and it's too late to get money together to fly to Greensboro to go firewalking, here are my New Year's Eve plans:
1. Crack open booze.
2. Watch movies (probably bad movies because drinking is not conducive to me staying awake for good ones/paying attention to them).
3. At 11:58, flip to whatever network has the ball drop.
4. Count down and make obnoxious noisemaker sounds with my mouth at midnight.
5. Stay up as late as possible.

jaina, you're required), email me and I'll send you address/directions to the house. I have plenty of space to crash on my living room floor, and I will serve punch and pie if people want to come over and make it a party.
