They were filming at an abandoned prison that the company my father worked for had rented for storage, which meant that we got to see lots of things going on during shooting.
Mr. Redford had shipped a couple of his horses and they were corraled at the caretaker of the jail's house,right there on site. My sister, who was 11 or 12 at the moment enjoyed spending time with the horses.
Except for the time she got to meet Mr.Redford. To whom she said, "You're nice, but your horses are nicer."
<nods> Which sums up a lot of my sister's meetings with folks, but I bet Mr. Redford remembers her ;)
