irenak thought she'd grace me with her presence yesterday on her way up to visit some friends in Bahston. It was fun, and she didn't get lost once on the way through my tiny convoluted little town!

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, which was a little pricey, but had better food than I'd been lead to believe. And OMG teh cheesecake!!!!111 All the while we chatted geekdom - comic books and cover art, House, slash, gen, Charmed, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Trigun, Hellsing, et al. After paying the bill, we promptly rolled home, full of cake. Mm, cheesecake.

Came back and showed her the Serenity trailer, which is full of pretty and snark. Then we stayed up real late and talked Harry Potter. Yay! It's nice to talk shop with people in person. I've missed it so!

She crashed at my place and I made extra care not to step on her head when I got dressed this morning. Hurrah for successful non-head-stepping! Then I left her some cash and a note saying "thank you for last night, doll" and snuck out to work before she woke up. All about the body swerve.

Speaking of which, arafel, I got my DVDs back, thankee! I am happy. And speaking of speaking of which, missandrony, did you send out those DVDs I bought from ye? Haven't gotten them yet.

I went to the Cheesecake Factory once. Food? Overpriced, not that good. Cheesecake? Little piece of heaven, mmhm.

I wish I'd paid more attention! It would have been teh fun to join you two for dinner. Oh well, my loss.
