Dear Budget Living magazine,

I don't know what kind of budget you're on, but in my universe, a budget means I don't find a $30 iPod sock a great deal. In fact, you would've had a better article on freeipods.com, since people on a budget can't easily afford a $300 mp3 player. Also, I don't consider a $275 blanket or a $90 canister set in my budget, either. Yes, they're less expensive than the big name hand-made designer stuff, but that doesn't mean it's budget. Also, $5 per issue? Teh suck.

I say the same thing when fashion mags do a "budget" section, where baby tees are $50. Yep. :) Oprah's budget, maybe....

I know! I was reading the latest O Magazine, and the theme is finance, so they have all these "deals." Like the $1500 shopping spree - they'd pick up one pair of shoes that cost $1500, or buy a bunch of shoes for $1500, and that was the "budget" list. But the shoes were still $100, at least. Oy vey!

So funny. I suppose they didn't say how high your budget was....

Really. See above between me and [livejournal.com profile] cheekybaby - maybe it fits into Oprah's budget, but not mine!
