is it for real? or is it like the "applebees" etc gift certs you're supposed to get for passing on a chain letter? (which applebees has come out sveral times and denounced those)
No, it's not a chain letter, it's a website. It's pretty much a pyramid scheme -
1. I want a free iPod. I complete an offer on the website, and refer 5 friends so I can get an iPod. 2. Each of those 5 friends has to complete an offer so I can get my iPod, and hopefully they complete offers, because they too can get iPods if they each then get 5 friends to complete offers...
It's awesome when it works! But yeah, I have a friend who signed up under me who already got hers cuz she's more popularer.
