1. Lose 30 more pounds by summer. I'd like to think I'd make a good Juri, but as everyone in shoujo anime is impossibly thin, I'd like to maybe at least be a size 10 at most by Otakon. Due to the wasted child-bearing hips, 10 may be the smallest I can get. (I'm a brick house, baby.)
4. Keep in touch with friends. This is one to be perpetually renewed. Sometimes we take the people most special to us for granted, and I refuse to do that this year. I like keeping around people I like.
5. Write oodles and oodles of things that I keep saying I'll write. At least one drabble per week, just to keep the non-sexual juices flowing. Was that TMI? I'll bet that was TMI.
6. Learn Japanese. Maybe not fluently, obviously, but enough that I can marginally understand my doujinshi. I've spent too much money to guess at what's going on. First, I will focus on grammar.
7. Keep the above resolutions.

[EDIT] 8/24/05: Wow. Not doing too bad for once. Go me! 2005 is the best year ever.

Date: 2005-01-04 02:05 am (UTC)I've tried translating things before, and I'm mostly hit or miss. I've told Angie before that I'm gonna start a doujinshi scanlation site called "Eh, You Get the Gist..." where I translate what I can, and make up the rest :-D
