1. Name: FadingEmbers
2. Age: 22
3. Who is your favorite teacher at Hogwarts?
For all intents and purposes, Barty Crouch was a great teacher, you know. But McGonagall, through five books, has consistently ruled.
4. Who is your least favorite teacher at Hogwarts?
Because of the "mysterious villain" factor of most of the HP books, you're not really given a chance to dislike the real villain, because they're revealed only in the last few chapters. But OotP was about 900 pages of bile rising every time Umbridge appeared (and wasn't upset by someone's prank/insubordination).
5. Which of the characters do you most relate to?
Hermione! C'mon, the bushy hair, the know-it-all attitude. Totally me. Now where's my hot Bulgarian sports athlete boyfriend?
6. Who is your favorite character from the books?
Don't you make me pick between Fred and George.
7. Who is your least favorite?
Cho Chang reminds me of every girl I've ever hated in high school and college.
8. Favorite subject?
I wish I knew more about Arithmancy. I was always good at math, and that sounds mathalicious. But since I don't, I'll say Transfiguration. Hee, I want to turn my teacup into a kitty when I feel sad.
9. Least favorite subject?
Potions. I'm not a good cook, and I crumble under disapproval. Divination is bullshit, but I can bullshit with the best of them. In fact, I used to write horoscopes for my high school newspaper!
10. What would you see when you look into the Mirror of Erised?
Me and my Josie and the Pussycats style band behind me, the audience adoring us.
11. What would your boggart be?
Me, broke, unsuccessful, and unhappy. With 2.5 children next to me.
12. Assuming you are an animagus, what animal would you turn into (the animal must reflect the person, it's not a choice)?
If you don't know the answer to this, you haven't been on my friends list long enough. (Here's a hint: me and Crookshanks would be totally tight, yo. And we'd hunt Scabbers.)
13. What would your pet be?
I want a kitty!
14. Get a little creative and tell us, what would your wand be?
5 inches (easy to hide). Made of oak, so it's nice and sturdy, perfectly smooth and pointed because I'm crazy obsessive about little things like that. Inside its core, a hair mischeviously pulled from a centaur's tail (giggle!)
15. Who at Hogwarts would be your best friend(s)?
I've always had a bit of a habit of fading into the background, so I imagine that my best friend is a Ravenclaw not even mentioned in the books. The two of us are too busy having sleepovers and doing homework and reading the latest issues of "Young Witch" to be involved in adventures and rebellion.
16. Who would you consider dating?
I like a man who can make me laugh. I'd be having orgy fantasies about the three youngest Weasley boys XD And lust comas after Draco Malfoy, provided this Draco Malfoy looks like Tom Felton.
17. Would you have put your name in the Goblet of Fire?
NO.
18. You-Know-Who...what do you think of him?
I'd probably call him Voldemort just to show off how fearless I was, but then piss myself when Dumbledore said he came back.
19. What did you think of Umbridge? Was she fair in the things she did?
Kill! KILL! In all honesty, I think Umbridge was a great villain - until this point, every "bad guy" has been tied to Voldemort in some way. But Umbridge worked for the Ministry of Magic - people who, until that point, were supposed to be the on the good side of the Force. And she wasn't working for Voldemort, but she sent Dementors after Harry, tortured her students for "spreading lies," and tried to make Hogwarts into a dictatorship. With the exception of Cedric's death, I think Umbridge has done more harm than Voldemort or any of his cronies.
20. What qualities do you look for in a friend?
Humour. Kindness. Intelligence. Loyalty.
21. What do you consider some of your best qualities?
See above. I'm a Capricorn, and I also like pina coladas and makin' love in the rain.
22. Worst ones?
Messy, lazy, short attention span.
23. What house characteristics (of any house) do you feel are the most important/best?
I think all four are set up with a good characteristic to have, though I wish JK didn't make ambition=evil. While I understand that our heroes hang out a lot because they're from the same house and that's more convenient, I think it would be interesting to see in the next two books some inter-house cooperation, to see how the different characteristics balance and help each other.
24. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I want to work for the Wireless Wizard Network! I'll be a DJ witch.
25. What would be your dream career?
Rock star witch!
26. What house stereotype is the most unjust in your opinion?
Like I said before, ambition=teh evil of Slytherin. Yes, ambition and cunning can be bad in the wrong hands. But so can bravery and courage, when jumping into something blindly and arrogantly (as seen in OotP).
27. What house do you think you belong in?
Ravenclaw! Because that question should have been phrased, "In what house do you think you belong?"
28. How'd you find us (for referral points)?
rashaka's journal.
