Sgetti's and dogs

When I was a kid, my mom would occasionally make me Spaghettios, with a hot dog cut up in them. It was yummy.

I can't recall if she ever cooked it for me and friends, but it wasn't until New Jersey, senior year of college, when I was making it for lunch, and robinterrae was all, "What on Earth are you making?"

pale_jezebel said, "Oh, I used to make that all the time! Jungle Junk! You just throw a bunch of stuff into a casserole dish. Easy dinner when you're twelve."

But it's not a casserole! You heat up a hot dog, you heat up some Sgettios, you mix them together. Love with fork.

I made this sometime last week, and Kirk was all, "Hot dogs and spaghettios? Where the Hell did you get that idea?"

Bah! Is this just me? Is my mother a bizarre cook? I thought this was as American as apple pie and fellatio!

Haven't done this in a while...

1. What is (or would be) your dream vacation? Two weeks off to visit sunny Southern California and attend surf school while there. Light stalking of Robbie Williams in LA.
2. What's one thing no vacation can do without? Swimming.
3. What has been the best trip of your life so far? Don't know that I've ever come back from a vacation thinking, "That was the greatest trip ever!" The latest trip to Disneyworld with my parents was pretty cool, as we stayed at a cute little Disney resort, and it was the first one where I was old enough to have my own spending money. One year we had a week at a shore house in Ocean City, and my BFF at the time, Melissa, came with us and Bubba was still a kitten so he came too.
4. Who was with you on that trip and what is the role of that person in your life? Oh. Well, I guess I just said that.
5. What's the worst thing that can happen during a vacation? Rain. Unless you vacation to Seattle and you're expecting it.

In other news - OMG they're releasing a special 2-disc edition of Princess Bride?! AHHHHH.
