I came into work early so I could get a head start on my work! ...then prettykate and I shot the shit for about 45 minutes. Ooops! But I'm watching more Rent footage, and I've got to run down and edit a tape together real quick as soon as the editor decides to show up. Whoot. Life is once again good. This week has been like a friggin' manic-depressive ride, I swear.

Speaking of which, 2005 was a shitty year for me. I believe how you start the year affects the rest of it, and my year was kicked off at an overpriced, overcrowded shitty bar with a weasel and had a stoner who threw up on himself sit next to me. jaina's presence may be the only reason I had good moments this year at all. So I think I'd like to start off the year of the dog in style, on my terms and my turf.

Man, I cannot wait for the Rent movie now. Watching the behind-the-scenes stuff just hyped me 1000% for this. I almost cried a couple times during the reprise for I'll Cover You, and the Finale. Sniff.

This is a tape for press release, called "Approved B-Roll". Sony censored it themselves, so they cut out any naughty lyrics. I suppose that's why so many shots were very repetitive, because when you cut bad words and naughty references out Rent, you get...very short songs. But in the middle of logging La Vie Boheme footage, they'd stop the shot right before the line "To leather, to dildos--" and silly me just kinda kept mouthing the words along to myself. I hope we have no lip-readers in the office.
