A Sale of Two Titties, or More Reasons I'm Heterosexual

I have two female roommates. While they're good in the aspect that they don't think we have to hang out every second of the day or we obviously totally hate each other, they're still a little crazy.

Case in point: I have Rob. Jen has a boyfriend named Joe. Ana is officially single. However, there's this guy named Vlado that comes over time and again (usually at night) and they have tea and go to her room. Ana says she doesn't really like Vlado all that much, but neither says what they do alone in her room.

Now, all of this is fine with me. Ana and I share a wall - I've never heard anything beyond an occasional extra-loud sentence from either of them, so I don't give a damn if they're swinging from the ceiling and fucking. While I don't know Ana's specific age, I do know she's an adult, and an immigrant who not only came to America by herself, but is doing alright on her own. Whether he's coming over for a nightcap or a "nightcap" is her own damn business.

Yesterday, Jen and I came back from a bar, and Jen saw Vlado's car parked in front of the house. She turned to me and asked, "Dude, what's the deal with Ana and Vlado? I mean, do you think they're..."

"I don't know. Maybe. She said she doesn't like him that much."

"Right! She doesn't like him that much, but he comes over at night all the time and they have tea and go to her room. I mean, if you don't like a guy, you don't take him into your bedroom...I was NOT raised that way."

Jen is from an upper middle class North Jersey town. Ana is from Czechoslovakia. I can pretty much guarantee that she was raised differently from you, Jen.

Am I wrong that I don't feel righteous indignation at this? Because really, it pisses me off more that the toilet paper is on in that "under-handed" way, and when I flipped it over, SOMEONE FLIPPED IT BACK. Also, I left a basin of dishes to clean this morning, and I came out to find Jen had put an almost-empty Garden Vegetable cream cheese tub in the water with the dishes. She hadn't even RINSED IT OUT first. I was not raised that way.

My subtitle is "She loves California, but she's fucking New York," because I was born in California and work in NY. I'm in the TV industry and would love to work in it out in California (and beyond that, just want to go home again). Now and again, when I'm wandering around the city, I ponder that it's a lovely place and it wouldn't be bad spending the rest of my life up here and such, and I tell New York I love it and it's only about you baby, but as soon as CA comes a'callin' I'm so there.

My friends page is called "302.89's Potential Therapists" because I'm lazy and haven't changed my style to reflect the title. This ties in more with my username.

My username is "302.89" because when I worked at the hospital, we had a big book full of ICD-9 codes. These are diagnosis codes we give to insurance companies so they'll pay when we bill them. One bored day, I looked up nymphomania to see if it was in the book. It's code 302.89.
