I only saw about the first fifteen minutes of s-CRY-ed last night, but it didn't chase away my earlier assumption, which was, "Hmmm, people with powers trying to fight for freedom and acceptance. It's like X-Men!"

Went to the mall last night and picked up a new pair of shoes for work, a stuffed kitty, and a Hakkai action figure. Because my action figures must all be paired up. I'm like a plastic Yenta. Because I'm CRAZY.

Speaking of crazy, I'd like to take a moment to address the people of the internet. Ahem.

Dear people of internet -

We're all self-involved here. You don't keep a livejournal for some higher personal purpose; you keep it so people will read about you and pay attention to you. It's okay: everybody does it. But don't pretend that you're really special and misunderstood and unconventional. You're not. And if someone rants about something you don't like, and you rant in response, you're not suddenly smarter or better. I'm a wanker, you're a wanker, we're all wankers here. Though you're admittedly that much less of a wanker for coming out about it.

Christian Bale is the new Batman. Hurrah! I like Christian Bale much more than I like Halle Berry.

Man, will I ever be pissed if there's no doujinshi at Otakon again. Because I've been not buying on eBay so I can save for con, and there's some good stuff up now.

There is a GTO lemon on AFFN. And it's a Nightmare On Elm Street crossover. As far as I know, that's not supposed to be a parody. WHO COMES UP WITH THIS SHIT?!

(On a related note, there is a second Aqua Teen Hunger Slash fic there, also. I've started a trend. Now THAT'S unconventional.)

I want to watch my Monkees episodes! Or Invader Zim! Decisions!

Rob is very good at that voodoo that he do so well. (Isn't it nice how I snuck that in there?)

Someone should recommend good fic for me to read.

Hm. I know it's a bad day when someone I usually consider a complete fucking wackjob makes me think.

80% of the good doujinshi on eBay this time around were bought by that endless moneymaker Squigette, so even if you'd bid, it's like the Borg - resistance is futile. jaina was really goddamn lucky.

I think the trick is to, like, not care at all, or at least convince yourself for a little while that you don't. Oy.

Am really looking forward to finding out more of the Vampire Vash saga.
