Weekend Update

40cakesFriday: Someone's birthday at work, so I went out for a little and had *gasp!* ONLY ONE DRINK. Had to go see the boyfriend, after all. Went to Rob's, where we had dinner and I promptly fell asleep.

pale_jezebel and saw Harry Potter PoA. As a film major, I have to say the film is positively beautiful, featuring some great shots, editing, and special effects. As a movie fan, the jury's still out.
Afterwards,prettykate had a bitchin' party (because it was her birthday, not because of anything I did!). Listened to my new Utena movie soundtrack on the way.
Note to self:
1. Just because you're listening to Rinbu Revolution does not mean you are driving hot pink super cool phallic car.
2. Other cars are not obstacles to the outside world, and thus, you don't have to race in and out of traffic to get around them.
3. The black car behind you is NOT trying to kill you.
4. North Jersey is not the outside world, despite what north jerseyans might say.
Sunday: Woke up, watched some TV, went home to get stuff done. "Getting stuff done" = playing on the internet, watching some DVDs, and sending emails. Where the hell did my weekend go?
Commentary track note: The commentary tracks on Family Guy don't seem all that good, since they're on random episodes, and it seems like everyone just sits around and shoots the shit, rather than tell us about the episode, or even why that particular episode was deemed important enough to have an accompanying commentary.
The commentary on Puni Puni Poemy is good, though. It's funny, and I get to hear more stuff about voice actor people I never knew before.
