So the Gamestop by me, which has a decent anime selection, and has its selection at a decent price, is having a 30% off sale on anime. I bought Heat Guy J 1 with box, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi 1 with box, Noir 4 and GTO 10, for about $85. My mom got me Hanbani Renmei 1 with the box fer me birthday.

The sale runs until the 31st. I'm taking requests and paypal ^_^

They had the Apocalypse box for $90, and then thirty percent off would be $63 USD. According to this currency converter, that would be about $85 AUD.

Ooh, neat, Haibane Renmei! I likes that series muchly. It's a nice change of pace. (but can someone please explain to me why Best Buy sells V1-2 for $22 and V3 for $30, even though the same number of episodes are on each DVD?)

Hmm...depends on what yer lookin fer. They have a lot of 1st volume + box sets right now. They usually sell stuff at about $5 off the retail price, and then it's 30% off that.

For example, I went back today and bought Pretear. It's supposed to be $40 retail. They had it for $35, and then 30% off, so it was about $25 with tax.
