40cakesI like FamCare. What's FamCare? It's the magical place I go to, and they give me birth control pills. The latest visit was right before I graduated, and it's time for my yearly checkup. I call to set up my appointment.
"Are you a student?"
"Uh..no."
"Oh. Are you on Medicaid?"
"No."
"Oh. Well, bring your paystubs with you."
Well fuck. Look at me, getting a college degree, working at the best-paying job I can get short of stripping in this bum-fuck city, and taking birth control so that I won't release my hellion spawn unto the world. My payment? Not having any insurance. Oh, and I don't qualify for Medicaid. :-D
