Odd thoughts

So on TV, they were milking rattlesnakes of their venom, so they could make rattlesnake bite antidotes. But it looked incredibly uncomfortable for the snake. They were poked and prodded and had their best defense drained from them. And all I thought was, "Poor rattlesnakes. Why are the people so MEAN to you?"

Work sucked. But I finished The Subtle Knife. So I can start The Amber Spyglass in the Otakon registration line ^_^
