This really was out of pure curiousity. I don't watch X-Men Evolution because something about the series makes me convulse and pass out, but I don't imagine it would vary all that much from the original story.
So shouldn't any sort of smut involving Rogue, in any incarnation, involve a lot of angst and power sucking and full body condoms?
I didn't leave a scathing review, because the three reviews left for it are full of praise. And the writing's horrible, sure, but there have always been people who have praised shitty writing. I was more disconcerted that none of them mentioned "Uh, shouldn't Pietro be dead by now? Dumbass?"
Anyone watch Evolution and have anything that says Rogue doesn't have mutant powers yet or somesuch?

Date: 2003-05-03 05:42 pm (UTC)I have an unfinished Rogue/Kitty somehwere in my lost stories file, with careful attention paid to such convenient things as fine latex gloves, satin underwear and dental dams. Kissing is really the only hassle, and even that can be managed with some imagination... But most writers are lazy.

Date: 2003-05-03 09:11 pm (UTC)In defense of the series, I've only seen one episode, but the animation quality and some of the voices just turned me off. Maybe there's some psychological thing where I'm entirely too loyal to the cartoon I watched as a kid, who knows :-p
But most writers are lazy.
So are most reviewers. THREE PEOPLE told her that her story was awesome and she should write more.
