I can't wait until Pi day in 2015, because then the date can be 3.14.15 and I'm a nerd. And then at 9:26, I can break out some breakfast pie and no one will get it, either because no one's in my office that early, or the planet will be controlled by apes who will then beat me and take my pie (the only pie that will be available on the monkey planet will be banana cream).

I would like to note that there is a secondary holiday, Pi Approximation Day (22/7, July 22nd.) This is also a good day for pie, even better because fruit is in season at that time.

Approximate pie? Does that mean I can spread fruit jam on bread and call it pie? Or is this more like Tastykake pie? ;)

Maybe it means pie-like creations such as tarts, pizza, or those enormous cookies you see at Mrs. Fields?

Dinosaur comics said the exact safe thing about Pi Approximation Day. I had entirely forgotten about 22/7 in reference to Pi.
