40cakesThe Catholic League calls for an investigation of child porn in the movie Hounddog, shown at Sundance recently. According to the article, TCL president Bill Donoue says:
The Catholic Church has been criticized for allowing sexual abuse of minors to occur, he said. "Let's see now whether Hollywood will be held to the same level of scrutiny."
Except, y'know, members of the Catholic Church have ACTUALLY been sexually abusing minors, and the director of this film edited images together to portray a horrible act. In fiction. Which isn't real. So it's not the same level of scrutiny, because they didn't actually force Dakota Fanning to have sex with anyone. Which is rape. Guh.
