Blog for Choice day is Monday, and this year's theme is "Why I became pro-choice." Given the stream-of-consciousness style I so often write in, my blog post may run approximately 17 pages.
That's good though, that your family raised you with those beliefs. My father has a sort of when-it-serves-him sense of Christianity, in which his four marriages are perfectly acceptable, but the possibility of my sister being gay is wrong in God's eyes. Not sure how he feels on the abortion matter, but my mom raised me with the "Nobody has a right to some other woman's body!"
Same for my cousins who are my age with five kids. They won't use birth control because they're too Catholic, but I'm pretty sure they're not PLANNING that many kids so soon, which means they're just screwing for screwing's sake, not for the sake or procreation. So doesn't God frown on that, too?
