My morning train ran incredibly late when I wanted to be at work early. My evening train ran perfectly on time, the one time I was late, despite it running perfectly late for the past, say, three weeks.

But none of that matters, because after work, I got this on DVD:


Also, a box of microwave popcorn. Eeeeeee.

EDIT: Oh fuck me, Little Mermaid THREE?! The second one didn't suck enough for you, Disney?! And the only preview you have for it is a "musical preview" that's not of an original song?

EDIT 2: Oh for crying out loud, CINDERELLA THREE?! So that time you fired all those animators, they were what, the only people with good ideas?

EDIT 3: I had forgotten how bad the animation quality was on this. Especially when compared to Beauty and the Beast, just a year later. I mean, it's not TERRIBLE, but it's like it was drawn as an especially special episode of The Gummi Bears.

EDIT 4: Oh God, I love "Poor Unfortunate Souls".

The Little Mermaid is my all-time fave Disney movie in spite of them Disney-ing the ending, so yeah, I'm all over this DVD.

But a third? WTF? The second wasn't bad- it wasn't good either- but it just goes to show Disney's going to milk every money cow they have. What's this one going to be about anyways? Ursula comes back from the dead (with a nice sized hole in her chest courtesy of the front end of the ship Eric rammed into her) to inhabit the body of her frozen sister and Ariel's fricking granddaughter saves the day? O_o

The only clip they had was of one of the songs, but Ariel was still a mermaid and she and Flounder were running around trying to find Sebastian or something. So maybe a prequel? I HAVE NO IDEA.

The Cinderella III is about the evil stepmother finding out about Princess Cinderella's fairy godmother and stealing her wand and bad things happen and the glass slipper smashes abut surely love will persevere or something something.
