Hey! All you Arrested Development fans! It's back - at least it looks that way. Mark Cuban's HDNet is in the process of picking up all three seasons, distributed by 20th Television, according to Television Week. This show will join a couple of other cancelled series including the CBS drama Joan of Arcadia and the Showtime series Dead Like Me. This news follows Cuban's announcement last week that Dan Rather would be joining the network with Dan Rather Reports. HDNet is currently available in only 3 million homes.

Adult Swim will introduce several new animated original series in late summer and fall. New series include:
- Metalocalypse, premieres August 6 - Follows the misdeeds and exploits of the world's most popular heavy metal band Dethklok. The show is created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha and will air on Sundays at 1145p.
- Bleach, premieres September 9 – A 15-year old boy sees ghosts and becomes a Soul Reaper. The show will air Saturdays at 1130p.
- Trinity Blood, premieres September 9 – 500 years after Armageddon, peace seems to reign in the world, yet darkness still lurks and vampires return to destroy humans. The show is scheduled to air Saturdays at 12a.
I liked it better when it was called Trigun, oh snap.
- Frisky Dingo, premieres October 15 – Killface, the reluctant villain who wants to destroy earth, is pitted against an equally ambivalent superhero Awesome-X. Co-created by Matt Thompson and Adam Reed, the show will air Sundays at 1230p.

Adult Swim's returning series this fall include: Squidbillies, Robot Chicken, 12oz. Mouse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law.

They're just airing repeats of those canceled shows, not doing new ones, right? I heart me some Dead Like Me.

I think just reruns. But if you don't have them on DVD yet and want to keep watching... :)

Hell yeah. I can't keep stealing my boyfriend's Dead Like Me DVDs, and I unabashedly enjoyed Joan of Arcadia. :)

My bitchy comment at work: "Trinity Blood's after Bleach, right? Cuz it's gonna need the lead-in." Fecking Trinity Blood.

It needs so much more than a lead-in.

A plot? A speck of originality? A MIRACLE?

If Trinity Blood = Trigun, and Zombie Powder = Trigun, does that mean Trinity Blood = Zombie Powder? THE PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM SAYS YES!

HA!

Trinity Blood makes me sad. How does this shit get on the air?

"Sally went to the store and bought a loaf of bread. Then she went home and made a sandwich."

Look, I just wrote a better story than Trinity Blood. That was hard.
