zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Jul. 10th, 2006 09:25 amI am working on about 4 hours' sleep now. I couldn't get any sleep this weekend, and feel pretty damn terrible. FABULOUS. I already had a giant Jamba Juice with energy added to wake the Hell up. Slightly working. I have a blister on the bottom of my foot, right at the ball. AWESOME.
Saturday, Kirk, Angie and I saw Dead Man's Chest. Kind of underwhelmed. Note to Gore Verbinski: awesome action sequences are made less awesome when there's an action sequence every 30 seconds. But Pirate vs. Undead Monkey is teh win. We hung around the mall afterwards and did some shopping, then chillaxed in B&N. I bought a pile of manga and a frappuccino!
We came back and I immediately started downloading the Doctor Who season finale, thoughts on which can be found here (OMG SPOILERS! Only not really). I'm a dork and it's awesome.
Sunday we went into the city, with bad planning on my part. We saw a movie at the Angelika (Houston and Mercer), ran to dinner at Rosa Mexicano (Union Square), and then came back down to Forbidden Planet (12th) and Babeland (Mercer, near Canal). For those of you not familiar with the layout of lower Manhattan, that's essentially running back and forth all day. No wonder my feet hurt. At Babeland, I bought Pirates, which I will not link to here since I don't need to get caugh checking out that particular website at work, duh, but it's a 3-DVD set of a porn about pirates. Heeeeee. I think they're going to shiver timbers, and ahoy some mateys.
Then I woke up this morning, ready to pour some cereal and turn on the TV and watch cartoons...and realized it was Monday and I had to go to work. CRIES.
