So I may be going to a black-tie affair on Friday night. I have no black-tie affair dresses. Or shoes. Maybe some jewelry. Tomorrow I'm going to a play. Thursday I can go shopping. Where the Hell do I go shopping? Should I straighten my hair? What's my makeup? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BE A REAL GIRL, DAMMIT!

i went shopping a few weeks ago for a black-tie dress for a wedding and had my best luck at macy's. they had a pretty good assortment and most were discounted. hope that helps and have fun if you go.

can't go wrong with a little black dress and some hot shoes. I got some great long, fun necklaces at Forever 21. if you wear them right, you can rock them for some black tie.
Also, places like Express and The Limited usually have some nice-looking fake diamond earrings. Can't go wrong with those.

Jewelry I have - I just got real diamond earrings for Christmas, and I have a couple nice rings and earrings etc. But I have no dress or shoes. I'm a bad woman, as I apparently don't have enough shoes.
