The Larry the Cable guy stuff has bothered me for a little while. The act, the costume, the whole pretense that this guy isn't a multi-millionaire. And that people buy into the act scares me.

The fact that he is a multi-millionaire is the least of the problems I have with him. After all, Michael Moore's a rich white male, too. Mostly I hate that his whole "hyuck" mentality isn't meant ironically - even if it's a facade, it's taken as face value as someone who is good and honest and wacky.
