- A WHOLE AISLE?! Where, exactly, is this video store? I need number and street.
- Close fandom friends will know how my weekend went when I say that I am inspired to do a bunch of
30_lemons challenges. Non-close fandom friends can probably figure it out. Non-fandom friends: OMG LOL SEX0R ROXX. (ssh, secret code.)
- Saw Star Wars III finally with the boy. I enjoyed it. No qualifier. Started out slow, but once we got to the action, it was great. And y'know, all those scenes without Natalie Portman. However, it doesn't compare to Episode III: A Lost Hope (it's about 6 minutes long, and worth it. No spoilers unless you're REALLY Star Wars illiterate).
- Bought some tan-in-a-bottle at Walgreen's on a whim. Also, because it was the first "gradual light tan" I've seen that was affordable. I don't think it tanned me very well, and I'm a bit spotty in places, but hey, at least I smell awful! :D
- For
prettykate: Joyeux Anniversaire! (Somehow that doesn't seem right...but babelfish told me so! They're never wrong!)
- Stopped by the Pill Place and Deptford Mall - dude, wtf? They have TWO Hot Topics there now, and a Torrid! It would figure that NOW they want to have clothing stores that dress my body as of 6 months ago.
- Rented PS2 Lupin III and GBA Harvest Moon from GameFly on a free trial, and am glad I never bought either. The developers of Lupin III seem to have confused "irritating hassles" with "puzzling difficulty." The puzzles aren't difficult to figure out, they're just a bitch to complete. It's supposed to be about stealth and strategy, but there's little stealth and no strategy. Just keep running around, and the answer will practically sit on your face.
Harvest Moon is bothersome because of the limitations of the game. The GCN version has a friggin' magical knapsack that holds EVERYTHING (seriously. I could pretty much pack everything I have in the game, save animals and family, into that thing and no one would notice), but with this one, you can carry three tools only, and three items only (two in a bag, and one in your hands). It gets to be a hassle.
- Went to three different malls and I was a good girl - I only bought the latest issue of Bust, and a bookmark that said "Cat Girl" on it (Oh, COME ON. I had to).
- I THINK that's it...
