[40cakes]

Picked up some comics while out with pale_jezebel last night. Powerless 3, Rogue 2, Gambit 1 (they were out of Astonishing X-Men. See Casey cry. Cry, Casey, cry). She got some Batman and Fables, so we're going to have some sort of Marvel/DC smackdown in the future. But I also picked up a Catwoman GN, so I'm fair and balanced. Or something. Also got TriMax 2 and Pretear 2 (FINALLY) at Suncoast.

Will make some sexy Gambit icons. Teh rowr.

Dear next X-Men movie:

If you screw up and cast Gambit as someone who is not walking sex, I will pop out your eyeballs and throw lit matches into the sockets.

*sheepish* you do know that there is a 50% chance that they will not have Gambit in the next movie….. Last I heard it was up in the air because… and I quote “50% of the population doesn’t like him and will get pissed if he’s in the movie… and 50% of the population love him and will get pissed if he’s not in the movie”… this was awhile ago so it might have changed *crosses fingers and prays*

But after the Catwoman movie (which I shouldn't have brought up, since I usually deny its existance), I have to be made up to through another comic book movie! The best way to do this is with Gambit!

How's Rogue 3 and Gambit 1? I have Rogue 1-2 (Real name!) and I adored the old Gambit series, of which I own all issues. I need to get me some Ultimate X-men, he's back in those too.

I only have the first two issues of Rogue, and it's good and strange so far. Much angsting on her part. Gambit takes place in N'awlins, and looks like it will be full of partying and danger and sexy, sexy mutants with playing cards.
