40cakesMan, do I love Legend of Black Heaven. If the end didn't suck, it would be up there with my faves.
Other anime that would have been 900x better with a real ending:
1. GTO
2. His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano)
3. Hellsing (though admittedly, that last scene with Integra and Alucard ROCKS, but wtf happened in the last two episodes?)
Of course, another thing that keeps me from taking it completely seriously is that General Fomalhaut reminds me of a John Kricfalusi character - I think his name was George Liquor.

Date: 2004-07-05 03:54 pm (UTC)Apparently, the Bush camp created an ad talking about Yakuza, and included a quick shot of a poorly altered anime character. I haven't seen the ad because I keep getting error messages when I try to view it, but I've heard it's very silly and the non-Republican anime fans are pissed.
