Why I hate my phone

Y'know, I had Cingular for two years, and hate hate hated it, as I could never get a signal in my house. Then I moved up here, and had a signal, but was so fed up I didn't give a damn and wanted to switch anyway. So I got T-Mobile, which works fine down in South Jersey, but doesn't have a signal in my apartment. Fuck.

And the worst part isn't that it just doesn't have a signal; it's that it gets one now and then. For example, at 5am this morning, my phone woke me up because it decided to buzz and beep and vibrate like an epileptic robot, thus informing me that I had one voice mail, one text message, and eleven items from AIM.

And speaking of AIM. First, I thought I had logged out of that damn thing. Second, it seems to magically accept messages from people who IM me, but when I start up the program, the messages have disappeared and there's no way to retrieve them. So that's for anyone who tried to contact me last night and wondered why the Hell I didn't say anything back. Whee!

Dave: Roosevelt is the youngest President, but JFK is the youngest elected President.
Me: Piss.

They say you should learn something new every day. I just taught you something, so if anyone else tries to make you learn today, I say you should spit on them and give them the finger.
