Weekend Update
Jun. 14th, 2005 11:04 pm- Sweat like a muhfugga.
- Saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Was surprised to notice that it was only PG-13. Huh. The magic rating! Movie was cute and funny. When I was in college, I had an idea for a film that was pretty much the exact same plot, only it was silent and black and white, and would probably last under 5 minutes because duh, film school, and it ended on more of a Romeo & Juliet note than the Hollywood ending (which is ironic, given how much I HATE Romeo & Juliet). The weekend of the 24th, going to see Batman Begins with the boy.
The boy: I assume we'll have to sit in the back of the theater.
The cat: Hm?
The boy: You know, since you'll want to spend the entire movie masturbating to Christian Bale.
The cat: *Spits out soda* Oh, honey. No wonder I love you.
- Went shopping. Picked up Danger Mouse on DVD (I KNOW!), Samurai Champloo 2 & 3, Spice World (fuck all haters), Princess Bride, and Dr. Jekyll and Mistress Hyde* (boo! softcore porn! Boooooo!). Now have no money again! Booooooooo. However, in the interest of practical things, I did get a new bra that looks nice and stuff on me. Woot.
- Still talking in sleep to boyfriend. I think this is due more to him waking me up when he goes to bed than any deep-seated psychological issues. This time I only asked him if he sent the email out so they'd stop sending him emails, which is more logical than the time I accused him of stealing my triangles.
- Made Danger Mouse icons. As you can see from the new weekend update icon. Hee, Penfold.
- At this point, the only housemates I have absolutely no problems with are the boys. I should propose a trade with Trailer Trish, though I doubt she'd go for it since living upstairs means giving up driveway privileges, and a longer walk to smoke on the front porch.
