1. Getting to the subway platform JUST as the train arrives. I don't mean seeing it coming and making a mad dash for it, I mean just taking a leisurely stroll up/down the stairs and being greeted by those headlights. Like it's been expecting you.

2. Stopping by the mailroom to check on a FedEx you sent yesterday, picking up an extra Entertainment Weekly lying about because Bree from Desperate Housewives is on the cover, and discovering a huge section devoted to Monty Python.

3. Someone in starlight_music referencing the Monkees' film, Head. You rock, lj user whose name I can't be bothered to look up right now.

4. 1-point brownie recipes on ww_users, easily accessible despite teh dramah.

5. Peanut Butter and Jelly with Pepsi for lunch.

6. Using LiveJournal to reply to posts made by coworkers within speaking distance.

Dear Finances,

You are teh suck. It feels like forever since I've made just a fun purchase over $10, and I'm STILL working with negative cashflow here. I'm trying to be good, I really am. I haven't bought myself a DVD in ages (and I think the last one I did buy was used and on sale*). I'm incredibly behind on manga! Even the series I promised myself I was allowed to keep up with!** No wonder I'm illegally downloading anime*** and rewatching all my DVDs****.

*missandrony, did you send out any of that stuff yet? Just curious if I should start looking out for it.
**For example, Hellsing 6 and TriMax 4 are out. Have you SEEN either of those covers? UNF.
***Samurai Champloo is a wonderful amazing series and I love it bunches. Princess Tutu is full of fun and I hope it doesn't disappoint.
