When did you write your first "fanfiction" piece? What was it for?

I was the tender age of 5, and it was a Mary Sue self-insertion Muppet Babies fic. Just crap, really.

Did you actually post it anywhere?

Because my mother's looney, I'm sure she still has it somewhere.

What series have you written fanfics for?

Sailor Moon, Tenchi, Trigun. Heh, oh yeah - I have a Cowboy Bebop fic, too. Snicker.

If you had the chance to have the original creator turn any of your fanfic into an actual real piece, which story would you choose?

Something from my Trigun oeuvre. Preferably something written by [livejournal.com profile] jaina and myself. Giggle and titter.

Any Original Characters (ones that got named) that you had inhabit the series universes? If so - who/where? (Yes, this is where we embarrass you by revealing your dark secrets!)

Anna!

Do you have any weird music quirks that help you write?

::shrugs:: I have a few Winamp playlists that I used to use for specific scenes and emotions and yada yada yada. Now that I'm accustomed to writing on the train, I don't really care what I'm listening to.

What are common "themes" you hide in your stories?

...

Sex is natural, sex is fun, sex is best when it's one on one. - George Michael

Oh, and the struggle for equality for the masses and the class structure and something something.

What are your favourite characters to write POVs from?

Knives. Any other deliciously evil villain.

What story of yours do you wish more people would read and love?

Most of the stuff I've written has been fairly well received by fen (whether it deserved it or not). Ooh! I almost forgot Aqua Teen Hunger Slash!

If you could pick a specific scene of your story to be made into a comic-book/doujinshi format, what scene from what fanfic would you pick?

Been there, done that. Sigh. :: polishes fingernails ::

And last but not least - why do you like writing fanfiction?

Because reality is nowhere near as entertaining as fiction. And once I've found fiction I love, I don't want to leave it behind. And watching the same 26 episodes 90 billion times can get tiring. When a show/book/comic/film has such great characters, or such an inspired concept, or such an open ending that I feel so much more could be done, I get inspired.

Also, I really hopped into fanfic and fandoms when I was procrastinating doing real work. :p
