At the rate I'm going I'll never learn any Japanese... When I was 14 I had the determination to learn to read cyrillic and then Russian. I just became lazy. Of course, that's silly of me because there are so many doujishi that I wanna' read.
Know hiragana and katakana already...I romanised about the first 100 pages of Trigun, thinking it would be easy enough to translate once I put it in an alphabet I could understand.
Heh. Come to think of it, I know more than I think I do...there are a few I can recognise that I didn't list. Uh, nichi, tsugi, mizu, hi, ki...uh...that's about it, I guess.
And yes, most of the Japanese I learned, I know from Sailor Moon.
Ai to seigi no, sera fuku to bishoujo senshi SERA MUUN! Tsugi ni kawatte, oshiokyo!
