Watched Abenobashi again tonight, and I like it more as I watch. The commentary track with the American VAs was cute, despite it being on my least favourite episode. I also seem to be the only fan of the show who doesn't dislike the first episode. Huh.

They had to stop the commentary and do a second take halfway through, because one of the VAs gave away a spoiler, which kinda interested me that there's anything in the series to be spoiled. And I believe it was you who told me that the series gets better when it starts to get serious later.

Yeah, though I guess I definately seem to be the outlier (and perhaps you will be too) on that. Most people seemed annoyed by the inclusion of dramatic material toward the end instead of just straight up wackiness.
