1. Laverne and Shirley. Making independent women and milk and pepsis awesome.
2. The first three seasons of Buffy. It got me through high school.
3. Coupling. Coupling rules.
4. Sailor Moon. Note: Not on its own, but for what it represents. As itself, it's an amusing kids' show. As a pop culture icon (fuck YOU, VH1!), it's the sacrificial lamb offered up to television that exposed so many people to anime.
5. Italic Squirrels. You just wait.
Top Five Songs of All Time:
1. Bitch - Meredith Brooks. Rated number one for me for it is my theme song.
2. Monkees - Circle Sky.
3. Michael Nesmith - Texas Morning.
4. Counting Crows - Colorblind. Really just pretty.
5. Rinbu Revolution - Utena. This would rank higher if I knew what the fuck they were saying.
Top Five Movies of All Time:
1. Oh, Casablanca, I still apologize for your neighbours on the shelf.
2. Godfather. You know, even if it really sucked, Al Pacino was Hott.
3. Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It set enough of a standard that no one has successfully replicated it since.
4. I have to agree with Sue about Ghost World.
5. Adolescence of Utena. Because it's so damn pretty while being artsy fartsy enough that you have to see it at least three times to try and get it.

1. Matilda - Roald Dahl. This got me through...oh, life till now, I'd say.
2. Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte. Made a great musical, too.
3. Boys and Girls Together - William Goldman.
4. Princess Bride - William Goldman.
5. Invisible Monsters - Chuck Palahniuk.
Top Five Toys of All Time:
1. Nintendo. The Zapper, the Power Pad. What more could a girl ask for?
2. Barbies. I believe they're responsible for me being the pervert diva I am today.
3. Cabbage Patch Kids.
4. Teddy Ruxpin. Grubby was totally neato, too.
5. Squirt guns. Feel my rage, neighborhood boys!
